Challenge
The pub wanted to revitalise its brand while preserving that connection. The brief was to modernise without losing the nostalgia that made it a beloved Central Coast icon.
Objective
Rather than replace what people already recognised, the approach was to build on it. I reimagined the original pelican logo through a series of playful, characterful illustrations that capture the easy-going charm of the area.
Results
The refreshed identity feels inclusive and contemporary, balancing a sense of heritage with a renewed energy that invites both locals and visitors to feel at home.
